Five columns of writing with receipts for deliveries of wheat, grain, pork meat and barley done in most cases by Aion, son of Sarapion for the account of villagers of Karanis in the harbour of Leukogion to various boats. Some of the deliveries of wheat are done to the boats of Hierakapollon, bishop.\r\nAccording to the editors, he is the shipowner best attested in the Karanis receipts and had four ships under various captains. His name is typically Panopolite (Bagnall and Lewis 1979: 103-104). See also P.Col. VII 161.\r\nText written along the fibres on the front and across the fibres on the back; 8 different hands, all proficient.",
