                "description": "PSI XIII 1342: Letter to an anchorite.\r\nLetter sent by Humios and Origenes, two sitologoi from the village of Alabastrine (Hermopolites nome), to \"our most holy father, the anachoretes Apa Sabinos\" to remind him about some tax due in the name of Biktor, coppersmith. The deacon Paesis is mentioned as an intermediary.\r\nRecto: At the top of the letter, is the Christian cryptogram \u03a7\u039c\u0393 followed by the isopsephism \u03d9\u03b8 (= 99 = amen). Cursive handwriting running along the fibres.\r\nVerso: initial staurogram preceding the address, written along the fibres.\r\nThe Apa Sabinos of this letter was identified by Jean Gascou as the founder of a monastery located in the mountain north of Antinoopolis \u2013 \u1f21 \u03b2\u03bf\u03c1\u03c1\u03b9\u03bd\u1f74 \u03c0\u1f73\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1 \u1f04\u03c0\u03b1 \u03a3\u03b1\u03b2\u1f77\u03bd\u03bf\u03c5 \/ \u1f21 \u03b2\u03bf\u03c1\u03c1\u03b9\u03bd\u1f74 \u03c0\u1f73\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1 \u03c4\u1fc6\u03c2 \u1f08\u03bd\u03c4\u03b9\u03bd\u03bf\u1f73\u03c9\u03bd, now Dayr al-\u02bfA\u1e0fr\u0101\u02be (see Gascou 1994: 85; Fournet 2009: 120 and Gascou 2011).",
