Mich 3 219; SB 3 7251; SB 3 7248a: Letter from Paniskos to his brother Aion\u00a0This letter is preserved in parts: two top fragments (9.5 x 9 cm), a large bottom fragment (11 x 9 cm), plus a fragment (P. Mich 3 215, 7 x 3.1 cm) found alongside P. Mich. 216, which belongs to the left of the large bottom fragment (first noticed by Schwartz 1968). This yields ~28 lines of text, but the papyrus is strongly damaged overall. Following the greeting, Paniskos uses the phrase \u03b8\u03b5\u03bf\u1fe6 \u03b8\u03ad\u03bb\u03bf\u03bd[\u03c4\u03bf\u03c2] (God willing), prays \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u1f70 \u03c4\u1ff7 \u03ba\u03c5\u03c1\u03af\u1ff3 \u03b8\u03b5\u1ff7 for the prosperity of his brother Aion and asks him to tend to his daughter. Choat 2006 outlines how the use of this formula over multiple of Paniskos\u2019 letters must not necessarily indicate his adherence to Christianity; he prays \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u1f70 \u03c4\u03bf\u1fd6\u03c2 \u03b8\u03b5\u03bf\u1fd6\u03c2 \u03c0\u1fb6\u03c3\u03b9 in P. Mich. 3 214.",
