Teeter (Diss.) 7: Letter\u00a0The first 9 lines of a letter (10.5 x 7 cm), the right side of which is badly frayed into its fibers; the left border is intact. Addressed to a \u03b4\u03b5\u03c3\u03c0\u03cc\u03c4\u03b7\u03c2, the writer prays to \u03c4\u1ff7 \u03c0\u03b1\u03bd\u03b5\u03bb\u03b5\u03ae\u03bc\u03bf\u03bd\u03b9 \u0398\u03b5\u1ff7 (line 3\u20134) for the health of the addressee, and reports that the \u03bc\u03bf\u03bd\u03b1\u03c7\u03bf\u03c2 (line 7) has brought the writer the \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03b1\u03cd\u03c4\u03b9\u03bf\u03bd (presumably a shirt or tunic) the addressee had mentioned. The verso contains the address \u03c4\u1fc7 \u03ba\u03c5\u03c1\u03b9\u1fb3 \u03bc\u03bf\u03c5 \u1f00\u03b4[\u03b5\u03bb\u03c6\u1fc7]. \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03b1\u03cd\u03c4\u03b9\u03bf\u03bd is a unique spelling, see \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03b1\u03cd\u03b4\u03b7\u03c2, \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03b1\u03cd\u03b4\u03b9\u03bf\u03bd. Teeter assigns the monk named to the \u1f00\u03c0\u03bf\u03c4\u03b1\u03ba\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u03af, self-sufficient local monks in the community.",
