XIV 1680, P.Oxy. 14 1680: Letter to Apollo\u00a0Missing the first few lines, the writer of this letter (14 x 11.6 cm) expresses great worry for the safety of their father Apollo, \u03b5[\u1f54\u03c7\u03bf\u03bc]\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c4\u1ff7 \u03b8\u03b5\u1ff7 (line 3) to receive him back home in good health. The writer explicitly fears something happening to the father, and that they will not be able to identify the body, wishing to stamp a mark on his person to identify him. The letter ends with an offer of support, since the father may again be in debt (?) with Heraklios, the current \u1f10\u03c0\u03af\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf\u03c0\u03bf\u03c2 (overseer). The verso addresses the letter to [\u03c4\u1ff7 \u03ba\u03c5\u03c1\u03af\u1ff3] \u03ba\u03b1\u1f76 \u1f00\u03b3\u03b1\u03c0\u03b7\u03c4\u1ff7 \u03c0\u03b1\u03c4\u03c1\u1f76 \u1f08\u03c0\u03cc\u03bb\u03bb\u03c9\u03bd\u03b9; \u1f00\u03b3\u03b1\u03c0\u03b7\u03c4\u03cc\u03c2 could be another indicator for the writer\u2019s Christanity (see Naldini 1968 and inversely Wipszycka 1974).",
