The sender, Aurelius Artemidoros, and the recipient, the wife of Aurelius Apollonius, are identified by the address on the verso. Apollonius is currently on trial, and Artemidoros reports the newest developments. Mention of Didymus, Kriton son of Epimachos, and Artemidoros’ brother (?) Dioscurides. The farewell includes remnants of the phrase (\u1f10)ν κυ[ρ\u03af\u1ff3 θ]ε\u1ff7 \u1f14υχομαι (line 29-30) directed at the wife and her children.",
