Zenobia, addressed as τ\u1fc7 κυρ\u03af\u1fb3 μου μητρ\u1f76 (line 1) and greeted \u1f10ν κ(υρ\u03af)\u1ff3 θ(ε)\u1ff7 (line 2). He asks her to relay greetings to his wife Salamaei and to the brothers (\u1f10μο\u1fe6 το\u1f7aς \u1f00δελφο\u03cdς, line 8-9), also from his mother Rufina. Maximus reiterates his demand that his wife Salamaei be sent to him, a request which has not been heeded multiple times. He himself cannot leave his current location because his superior, the praepositus, is not letting anyone go.",
