                "description": "P. Princ. 2 101: Letter of recommendation to Eudaimon from Severus This top right section (7 x 10 cm) of a sheet contains the beginning of a letter. Each of the nine lines preserved is missing its first ~4–6 letters. Addressed to [τ\u1ff7 κυρ\u03af]\u1ff3 μου \u1f00δελφ\u1ff7 (line 1) Eudaimon, it contains well-wishes [τ\u1ff7 κυ]ρ\u03af\u1ff3 θε\u1ff7 \u1f00ποδοθ\u1fc6να\u03af (line 5). Evidently, Severus is writing this letter for an unnamed individual belonging to the household of a certain Stephanos’ father (το\u1fe6 πατρ\u1f78ς [το\u1fe6 (or μο\u1fe6, see Gonis 1997) Σ]τεφ\u03acνου, line 8-9), for whom it functions as a recommendation. The rest of the letter is lost. Similar letters of recommendation are P. Oslo 2 51 and P. Oslo 2 55.",
