                "description": "PSI 7 829: Letter from Arios to Germanos Although largely complete, the letter on the sheet (12.5 x 26 cm) is rendered difficult to read due to holes in the bottom half. It is addressed to κυρ\u03af\u1ff3 μ[ου \u1f00]δελφ\u1ff7 (line 1) Germanos, who is greeted \u1f10[ν] κυρ\u03af\u1ff3 θ(ε)\u1ff7 (line 2) and receives well-wishes ε\u1f54χομε τ\u1ff7 κυρ\u03af\u1ff3 θε\u1ff7 (line 3-4). Arios discusses the delivery and transport of goods, such as oil, sour grape wine (?) and barley δι\u1f70 τ\u1f78ν \u1f00δελφ\u1f78ν \u1f21μ\u1ff6ν \u1f49ρου\u03acχ (“through our brother Horouach”, line 10–11), whom Naldini 1968 considers to be a brother by blood (?). Germanos’ wife is mentioned to have received goods, but since some containers broke on a boat, Germanos is asked to send some wine. The verso contains the address.",
