                "description": "P. Oslo inv. 1647, SB 14 12021: Sale of a house This middle top part (22.3 x 15.9 cm) of a sheet contains the sale contract for a house. Less than half of the original width remains, an especially significant section is missing on the left. The top border might be preserved. Line 2 mentions an \u1f00ναγν\u03ceστ\u1fc3 καθολικ\u1fc6ς \u1f10κκλησ\u03afας (“reader of the Catholic church”), and line 4 reconstructs the beginning of the term [μο]ν\u03acζοντος (“monk”). Names mentioned include Aurelius, Ioannes, Dorus, Dionysios, Merobaudes, Serena and Sarapammon. A second hand appears on the last two lines, possibly part of the signatures. The closest, nearly contemporary parallels to this type of contract are PSI 12 1239 (18.09.430 CE) and Stud. Pal. 20 110 (5th c.).",
