XIII 1600\r\nTwo fragments containing a homily by Melito of Sardes, On Easter (De Pascha) 57-63.\r\nThe text was originally thought to be an oratory piece, \"\u03a0\u03c1\u1f78\u03c2 \u1f38\u03bf\u03c5\u03b4\u03b1\u1f77\u03bf\u03c5\u03c2\" by Hippolytus (see\u00a0ed. pr.), but has since been identified as Melito's\u00a0Peri Pascha;\u00a0see Bonner 1936a: 108-116.\r\nMelito's works are listed by Eusebius in Hist. eccl. 5.24.5, yet only a few texts have survived. The Easter sermon is quite interesting, considering that Melito was said to have been a Quartodeciman, one who celebrated Easter on the same day as Passover; see Blumell \/ Wayment 2015: 362.\u00a0\r\nThe largest of the fragments measures 17.3 x 8.7 cm with 17 lines on the recto and 28 lines on the verso. The smaller fragment contains the remnants of 2 lines. The text contains\u00a0diaereses,\u00a0diastole and nomina sacra.",
