LXVI 4494; Gregory-Aland P110; Gregory-Aland \ud835\udd13110\r\nA papyrus fragment containing the Gospel of Matthew verses 10:13-15 and 10:25-27 with several singular readings.\r\nThe text is written in a sloping, reformed documentary hand with intermittent adherence to bilinearity; see Blumell \/ Wayment 2015: 171. The ed. pr. describes the hand as 'handsome' and largely bilinear. The lettering is decorated with serifs, and the text is punctuated by a multiplicity of spaces and points. Additionally, the scribe used several diaereses (l. 3 and 6), breathings (rough breathings in l. 2, 6 and 7 of the verso) and apostrophes (l. 7 recto as well as l. 3 and 6 verso). The ed. pr. notes that there is only one superlinear abbreviation of a\u00a0nu (\u03b1\u1f50\u03c4\u03b7(\u03bd) of l. 2, verso) and one occurrence of a nomen sacrum (\u03ba\u03c2 in l. 2, recto; \u03ba\u03c5\u03c1\u03b9\u1f79\u03c2 \"Lord\"). The scribe has also made a couple of corrections in\u00a0l. 2 (recto), among which he has corrected the sigma to a\u00a0zeta in \u0392\u03b5\u03b5\u03bb\u2019\u03b6\u03b5\u03b2\u03bf\u03c5\u03bb.\r\nThe fragment has multiple unique readings, inter alia a genitive absolute construction that is otherwise rendered by a middle participle in the MSS (\u1f10\u03be\u03b5\u03c1\u03c7\u03bf\u03bc\u1f73\u03bd\u03c9\u03bd for \u1f10\u03be\u03b5\u03c1\u03c7\u1f79\u03bc\u03b5\u03bd\u03bf\u03b9 in Matt 10:14). This construction is further developed by the 2. person plural pronoun \u1f51\u03bc\u1ff6\u03bd which is absent from other attestations. Other variants include \u1f10\u03ba\u03bc\u1f71\u03be\u03b1[\u03c4\u03b5] (imp. \"wipe!\") for \u1f10\u03ba\u03c4\u03b9\u03bd\u1f71\u03be\u03b1\u03c4\u03b5 (imp. \"shake!\") in 10:14, an omission of \u1f51\u03bc\u1ff6\u03bd in 10:13a, a reversal of word order in 10:25 and a change of preposition in 10:14 from \u1f10\u03ba to \u1f00\u03c0\u1f79, probably influenced by Luke 9:5; see Blumell \/ Wayment 2015: 172.",
