P.Oxy. XXII 2344: Petition of a bishop.

Fragmentary text containing the petition of Dionysios, bishop of the catholic church of Oxyrhynchos addressed to the strategus of the nome Flavius Paeanius concerning the management of an estate and the guardianship of some children, obligations which he wishes to avoid or which he claims a second party has evaded, thrusting the burden on him.
