Archaeological context | Probably found in Al-Ašmūnayn. Part of the private collection of Nikolay Petrovič Lichačev, which had been brought from Cairo in 1907, with further acquisitions from Paris and from Grigol Zereteli. First transferred to the Museum of Palaeography of Academy of Sciences (Leningrad), it was then brought to the Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Most of the papyri from the Academy of Science are now at the State Hermitage in St. Petersburg (see Chepel 2018 and Zereteli 1930). |
