Dating criteria | Dated to the first half of the 4th c. in ed. pr. but this date has been questioned by Gascou 1994: 46 who prefers a date in 5th c. for typological and palaeographical reasons (see also Sijpesteijn 1986: 118 about the date of the Karanis "Michigan receipts", part of the same archive); a date now accepted in the Michigan/APIS catalogue. |
