O.Bahria 7; SB XX 14890: Letter from Herakleides to Germanos.

Herakleides is asking his "lord brother" Germanos not to bother Sophia with money issue. Note the Christian onomastics: Sophia and Abraam son of Makarios.

Palaeography. Also, this text is part of a lot (O.Bahria 3, 6, 7 and 10) of which one mentions year 51, that is, according to the Oxyrhynchite era, the year 374/375 (see Wagner 1987: 87 and O.Bahria 6).

This ostracon was uncovered by A. Fakhry during the excavation of the brick buildings around the temple of Alexander the Great (Fakhry 1950: 47 and pl. XXVIIIb, and Wagner 1987: 86).
