Description

Manichean fragments.

Earliest Syriac documents published so far from Oxyrhynchos; written in the Palmyrene script, a script similar to Estrangelo. In ed. pr., D.S. Margoliouth was inclined to see all of these fragments (with Ms. Syr. d. 14) as belonging to a Manichean community.
