Description | O.Bahria 2; SB XX 14886: Payment order. Isak instructs the georgos Paulos to provide the praepositus with one chicken for the grape harvest of the 11th indiction. The text is dated to Aug. 16th. Note the Christian onomastics. |

Dating criteria | Palaeography. Wagner (1987: 89) notes that the presence of a praepositus pagi in the Little Oasis would situate this text at the latest before the middle of the 5th century (Rouillard 1928: 53), but the handwriting leads him to date it to the 4th c. and rather to the second half. |
