Description

P. Kellis 2 94: Amulet (?)
The two holes present on this tablet (8.2 x 5 cm) were drilled before the text was written on both the recto and verso. The wooden board terms itself an εὐλογία (line 6) and ends with Ἀμήν (line 12). It is unclear whether the text is Christian or Manichaean. The ed.pr. tends towards Christian, Gonis/Römer 1998 reads it as Manichaean, comparing it to Manichaean books of psalms.
