Description	P. Macquarie inv. 346: Fragment containing Christian hymn (?) This fragment (8.3 x 5.4 cm) extracted from mummy cartonnage contains the remnants of 4 lines with apparent allusions to the New Testament (Timothy 6:16 and 1 Ephesians 4:6). ὀ πατὴρ παντός (line 1) is written out, not as a nomen sacrum., leading the ed.pr. to propose the text was possibly a hymn written to a rhythm (see P.Oxy. 15 1786). The verso contains traces of a pattern.

Dating criteria	Palaeography; the ed.pr. compares the script of P.Oxy 40 2892 (24.09.269 CE), P.Oxy. 40 2926 (3rd c.) and P.Oxy. 45 3260 (323 CE). Mihálykó 2019 places it later, comparing it to PSI I 25 (22.08.465 CE) and P.Oxy. 16 1928 (6th c., Recto dated 5.10.533 CE).
