Description

P.Oxy. LXXIII 4933

Fragment containing Old Testament excerpts with messianic theme: Jeremias 38.24-26; Amos 9.11-12; Psalm 17.1-112.

Single page from what was probably a codex; it is likely that it was rather tall in format (ranging from 25 to 30 cm, see Blumell / Wayment 2015: 368). The scribe uses a form of diaeresis similar to the acute accent in l. 3, 7, 11, 13 (verso) and l. 14 (recto). Use of nomen sacrum on the reverse.
