P.Oxy. XV 1782

Two vellum leaves of a miniature codex containing the Didache of the Twelve Apostles 1.3b-4a; 2, 1-3, 2a.

Medium-sized informal uncial; some unusual divisions of words between lines; text reinked in red in l. 20; use of nomen sacrum (πν(εῦμ)α); no punctuation; wedge-shaped signs used to mark the end of a chapter.

The text is the earliest Greek attestation of the Didache, and differs significantly from text of the manuscript Codex Hierosolymitanus (which contains the complete text); see Blumell / Wayment 2015: 283.
