Description

P.KellisCopt. II 81 [P.Kellis VII 81]

Almost complete letter from Philammon to Theognostos in Coptic (L) with Greek address, Ph. complains that someone came from the oasis without a letter to him, starts a complicated narrative of grievance which can not be fully understood, except that the culprit is some Kapitou (Kapiton, who came without a letter), verso continues with some instructions and requests for items to be sent, probably Th. is not in the oasis therefore no greetings to the extended family as usual; close connection to the Coptic P.KellisCopt. II 80, P.KellisCopt. II 82, and P.KellisCopt. II 116 as well as the Greek P.Kellis I 67
