Description

P.KellisCopt. II 83 [P.Kellis VII 83]

Part of a letter on a wooden board in Coptic (L), the preserved beginning of side A starts with Theognostos greeting the lady Heni, editor assumed hence that this is a postscript and side B contained the beginning of a letter probably sent by Pegosh (note that the sequence of translation is nevertheless A – B); concerns about some items not being sent; possible postscript on side A mentions that the houshold in Kellis is sick, ambuiguous reference to his location as being "disturbed"

Note that in opposition to earlier practice, the text is called P.KellisCopt., not T.KellisCopt.
