Description

P.Kellis I 68: Letter from Psais to Elias

Letter now in 2 fragments badly damaged in its central part. Except for standard phrases with greetings and wishes for good health, the text seems to mention a trip of Elias to Mesobe (district in the Mothite nome), maybe about building activities, and Psais shares his intention to come over to Elias and his family "with God's help".

The writing runs parallel with the fibers, the verso is blank.
