Description | BKT VIII 3; P.Berol. inv. 9778 Two vellum fragments (ca. 5 x 3 cm) from a miniature codex containing the Book of Genesis 27:29-28:5. The fragments are bifolios that preserve parts of two columns with approx. 10 lines each, both verso and recto (11 lines in col. II verso of both fragments).The second folio is numbered as folio 36 (lambda-stigma), and the page number has been placed above column I on the recto. The script is a clumsy, slightly pointed uncial. It contains punctuation and several nomina sacra, as well as abbreviation of line-final nu with a horizontal stroke. Corrections are made by the same hand. |
