Description

O.BirShawish 18: Receipt for cotton.

Receipt issued by the priest Papnouthis and addressed to the tenant farmer Abraham, probably the same as in O.BirShawish 15 and O.BirShawish 16. Mention of one Isak.

The priest Papnouthis is said to be illiterate and has the document written by someone else. He is very likely the same issuing party as in O.BirShawish 50).
