Description	P.Oxy. I 5 The fragment contains a treatise on prophesy with quotations from the Shepherd of Hermas Mandata 11.9-10. It was previously believed to contain a homily by Melito of Sardes, On Prophesy (De prophetia); see Harnack 1898: 517-520. The text concerns itself with matters of prophesy and the Christian prophets, and compares the phaenomenon to the body of Christ that was mixed with humanity through Mary (ll. 12-15).
