Description | P.Rain.Cent. 86; SPP XX 103: Loan of money with interest in kind. Parts of an agreement between Aur. Kephalon son of Theodoros, deacon of the catholic church (katholike ekklesia), from the village of Taamorou in the Herakleopolites nome, and Aur. Leontios, from Herakleopolis. According to this contract, Kephalon has borrowed 5 gold solidi from Leontios and will pay him interest in bundles of tow every month. Recto: Large, upright cursive hand running along fibres.
