Description

CPR VIII 37: List of grain deliveries.

Account by an official, Ammonios son of Mouses, hypodektes of the 6th indiction, with a list of grain deliveries to different bakers, one of them being the baker of the topos of Dios, bishop.

A Dios episkopos appears also in P.Herm.Landl. II, 147.

This text is written on the verso of a reused document, in a coarse cursive handwriting, running across the fibres. Part of the text is crossed out.

Ed. pr. notes a cross before the first line but hard to see on the image (Choat 2006: 117).

Recto: payment order addressed to Nearchides (CPR VIII 33); text running along the fibres.
