Description | O.Gedida 8: Receipt or order concerning wheat. Fragmentary ostracon mentioning a praepositus, presumably of the ala stationed in the oasis, rather than the praepositus pagi. It is not clear whether the wheat was received from him, or according to his orders, or was to be delivered to his agent. The document is signed by Joseph. Text on convex side. |
