Description | P.Oxy. XLVI 3311: Petition Well preserved and virtually complete piece of papyrus containing a petition addressed by two sisters, Aur. Cyrilla and Aur. Martha, from Oxyrhynchos, to the curator civitatis, or logistes, of the same city concerning an inheritance involving a monk (apotaktikos). The writing runs along the fibres – except for the first sheet that is the protokollon of the roll. Verso is blank. |
