Description | Cribiore no. 397: School book with copy of Ps. 92. Wooden wax tablets originally part of a school book (H. 19 x L. 7.5 cm) preserving the copy of LXX Ps. 92. on badly ruled tablets with unevenly spaced lines. The verses are transcribed continuously and divide by two oblique lines. Use of nomina sacra abbreviated with supralinear strokes. The hand is described by Cribiore as "Alphabetic," with contrast between narrow and wide letters. Epsilon, mu, are almost always ligatured. Some letters are drawn with a certain fluency. |
