Description | I.Oasis p. 36 no. 47; SB XX 14797; SEG XXXVIII 1774: Visitor's inscription. "Paulos, servant of Jesus". One of several graffiti written in a similar cursive in the red frieze of this wall of the kathesterion: Eupator of no. 44, Biktor of no. 46 and Paulos of no. 47 are probably Christian soldiers belonging to one same military detachment. |
