| Description | PSI I 1; Gregory-Aland P35; 𝔓35; NT35 Papyrus fragment containing the second Gospel of Matthew 25:12-15 and 20-23. The papyrus measures 8 x 8.9 cm, and preserves 10 (recto) and 11 (verso) lines of text arranged in one column. The original size is estimated to have been 23/24 x 15, containing approximately 30 lines to a page. The fragment is especially problematic concerning the palaeographical dating, with suggestions ranging from the 3rd c. to the 7th c. |

| Dating criteria | Palaeography. The ed. pr. places the fragment in the 7th c. The fragment has also been placed in the 3/4th c. (see Turner 1974: 147), in the 3rd century (by Roberts and T. C. Skeat, see Comfort-Barett 1999: 128-129) and in the second half of the 5th c. based on a parallel with P.Amh. II 190 (The Shepherd of Hermas, 5/6th c.; provenance N/A); see Clarysse / Orsini 2012: 464 and 470. Aland (1976: NT 35) places the fragment in the 4th c. |
