Description | PSI X 1165; Gregory-Aland P48; 𝔓48; NT48 Papyrus fragment from a codex containing Luke, Acts of the Apostles (Acta Apostolorum) 23:11-29. The fragment measures 13.4 x 11.4 cm (16 x 25 cm is given in Blumell/Wayment 2012: 103), and preserves 13 (recto) and 20 (verso) lines of text arranged in one column per page. The verso (Acts 23.11–17) precedes the recto (23.25–29). The original size is estimated to have been 25 x 16 (see VanHaelst 1976: 175) or 36 x 29 cm (see Blumell/Wayment 2012: 103) The hand is described as a very small sloping, pointed majuscule. The text has affinities to the Western tradition and contains several unique reading, including an ἄν for οὗ in l.5 verso. |
