Description | P.Herm.Landl. 2; P.Flor. I 71: Land register Documentary codex, or rather notebook (cm 28 x 28), listing landowners in the vicinity of Hermopolis for taxation purposes. Some of the taxpayers are identified by means of their church titles (most of them are already listed in the earlier (c. 5 years) register P.Herm.Landl. 1): l. 147: Dios, bishop (episkopos), 122 arouras (not in P.Herm.Landl. 1). l. 510: Ammonianos, bishop (episkopos), 47 arouras l. 519: Arion, bishop (episkopos), 19 arouras l. 722: Makarios, monk (apotaktikos), 16 arouras l. 731: Makarios, bishop (episkopos), 8 arouras l. 771: Pankrates, priest (presbyteros), owning 19 arouras |
