I.Mon.Phoeb. 2; SB X 10709 g; SEG XXIV 1224: Invocation

Six lines of a graffito reading: "To God and mercy. A soldier of the duke shows up (?). We are hiding (?) because of him and he has pointed us out (?). We come here to take refuge".

Part of the dossier of Horion neoteros, dated 4th c. in Delattre and Worp 2012, following the date given in ed.pr. by Rémondon. More recently Wipszycka has questioned the unity of the dossier, that is impossible to verify without any images (see Wipszycka 2009: 182-183, n. 49).
