| Description | SEG LIII 1948; SEG XXXII 1573: Psalm quotation and acclamations. Three inscriptions: two of them on the left side of the wall, one below the other; the third one on the bottom right side of the wall, after two crosses. The first inscription and the third one are written around a large cross (the first one being a serifed cross). The second inscription is written between small crosses. a. Quotation from Ps. 90.1. b. Possibly a very early example of a formula that developed into the Latin Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus imperat. c. "Christ conquers". |
