O.Trim. 2 714; O.Amheida inv. 14194: Tag 
The ostracon (2.6 × 3.5 cm) is broken off on the left side. The fragmentary writing on the convex side contains [Πμ]̣ο(υν) Θοτομη […] πρεσβύτ(ερος) […] α (ἔτους) on three lines. Whether πρεσβύτερος in this context refers to a clerical office or simply “the elder” is unclear. The ed.pr. seems to indicate line 3 could possibly mean the first year of Diocletian (284/285).
