P.Oxy. LXI 4127, P.Oxy. 61 4127: Letter from Ptolemaios to Thonios
The letter (4 x 26 cm) mostly lists a number of items which the writer Ptolemaios means to buy via the addressee Thonios, such as a dish/platter (πίνακα, line 22), girl’s shoes and something from Canopus. He also cancels his previous order of linen yarn and other items. The letter ends with greetings to Tithoes. Ptolemaios greets the recipient with ἐν κ(υρί)ῳ χαίρειν (line 4-5) and calls him τῷ ἀγαπητῷ ἀδελφῷ (line 2-4).
