Description | O.Douch I 34: Payment order. Issued by Ioannes and addressed to "his beloved Palamon", with instruction to provide Ioseph and Dios with one marion of wine and other products (Correction in Cuvigny 1988: 87). As an issuer, Ioannes is only attested in O.Douch I 34, O.Waqfa 14 and O.Waqfa 19. According to the ed. pr. the handwriting of these three texts could be the same. |
