| Description | P.Mert. II 94: Receipt for Corn The receipt records a payment of corn delivered by Didymos, son of Apphou. Cryptogram ΧΜΓ centered at the top of the document and a cross precedes the signature of the collector (hypodektes) Abraam. Large, upright hand and subsequently cancelled by means of intersecting diagonal lines; the text is written across the fibres. |
