SEG XXIV 1194; SB X 10697: Honorary inscription

The text contains a commemoration – placed under the goodwill of God pantokrator and Christ – of the building of a portico by a town councillor dedicated to the emperors at the occasion of the decennalia.

Duplicate of SB V 8699 (exact same text, only the division of the lines changes).

Boyaval 1966: 362 the stone block had been laying in the garden of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (west side) for several months when he published it, without bearing any inventory number. He could not find any record of it in the JdE.
