Description | P.Gen. I. (2nd ed.) 68: Receipt for an inheritance share. Aurelius Pergamios receives from Aurelius Ol a part of the inheritance of Kyrillos, father of Pergamios, consisting of small livestock (sheep, goats, lambs, etc.), household furniture (a bed and two seats) and eight solidi. Paulos, priest of the village of Philadelphia (Arsinoites), is mentioned as one of the witnesses (11-12: ἐπὶ παρουσίᾳ Δ̣ι̣δ̣ύμου καὶ Παύλω (l. Παύλου) πρεσβυτέρου | τῆς αὐ̣τ̣ῆς κώμης) – see Cadell 1967: 196-197, n. 4. Recto written along the fibres. Verso not visible. |
