Description | P.Oxy. LXXII 4844; Gregory-Aland P123; Gregory-Aland 𝔓123 Three small papyrus fragments from a folio containing Paulus 1 Corinthians 14.31-34; 15.3-6. The text is written in majuscule and contains only one nomen sacrum (πνα; verso l. 2); see ed. pr. The other existing witness to these particular verses is P46. The text probably belonged to the first half of a single-quire codex considering the text sequence (verso preceding the recto); see ed. pr. There appears to be scribal annotations and markings above the script (such as in l. 1 and 3(verso)), yet their purpose is not evident; see Blumell / Wayment 2015: 177-178. |
