| Description | PSI II 127; Aland AT33 A papyrus fragment (16 x 11.5 cm) containing the Old Testament Book of Judges 1.10-19. The folio contains one column of text per page with 19 lines (verso) and 20 lines (recto) per column. The pages are numbered 3 and 4 (the alphabetical numerals appear above the end/beginning of l. 1 in both columns), and the text on the verso precedes the recto. Parts of the outer, upper and lower margins have survived, but are quite damaged. The script is a straight, thin uncial with cursive elements, with documentary habits (see e.g. the abbreviation of καί in l. 4, verso); see ed. pr. The texts contains diaereses and nomina sacra (l. 14 and 16 verso as well as l. 20 recto), yet no obvious signs of punctuation. In content, the text is close to MS A (Alexandrinus). |
