| Description | I.Oasis p. 63 no. 2; SEG XXXVIII 1698: Invocation. On the left side of the west wall, partly inscribed, partly painted in red, three lines of a text added on top of I.Oasis p. 62-63 no. 1 in much smaller letters. After an initial abbreviated nomen sacrum with staurogram (ϲ⳨oϲ) isolated on l. 1 comes a usual funerary formula followed by an allusion to Luke 23.42. The reading of the last line was corrected by Cauderlier 1989: 226. |
