Description

O.Trim. 2 532; O.Amheida inv. 16132: Letter of Theotimos to Makarios 
The letter from Theotimos to his “beloved son” Makarios (7.5 × 6.7 cm) written on the convex side of an ostracon contains the order to send one moion of chaff to the officiales Horion and Tithoes at Trimithis. The ed.pr. states that the Christian name Μακάριος is common at Kellis (see O.Trim. 1 27 and O.Trim. 1 325).
