Description

SB XVI 12626: Payment order.

Abraham (Abraamis) orders Theodosios to pay 200 myriads in all. Order in form of a letter, dated Phaophi 8, Indiction 2.

Recto: written in an unpracticed hand, with very little linking, running accross the fibres. At the top and bottom of the document is the Christian cryptogram ΧΜΓ.

Verso is blank.

Dated 4/5th c. in ed.pr. but identified as part of the dossier of "Abraham estate manager" with a parallel order written by the same hand and addressed to the same person (P.Mich. inv. 3732), edited and dated 6th c. by Claytor 2019: 234-235.
